Dr. Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, an award-winning poet, will read
selections
inspired by artists from her four books of poetry.
Following a brief slide
presentation, Carolyn will tell how such artists as Van Gogh,
Gauguin, and O
'Keefe influenced her writing practices. She'll also share
recent poems
about river country. Carolyn's many contributions to
American literature
led to her selection as a Virginia Cultural Laureate in 1992.
